Phase failure & error protection device	Escalator halts when phase failure or voltage error occurs.
Main drive speed testing protection	Monitors operating speed and stops the escalator when abnormalities are detected.
Pallet missing protection device	Prevents operation if one or more steps are missing.
Main drive chain tensioner protection device	Prevents loosening or breaking of the main drive chain, ensuring safe operation.

1.3 Energy-saving functions

The XO-TOF supports multiple energy-saving modes, helping reduce power consumption, lower operating costs, and enhance passenger comfort. These features are particularly suitable for shopping malls, stations, airports, and other locations where passenger flow varies throughout the day.

Optional energy-saving functions:

• Low-speed mode: When no passengers are present, the escalator automatically reduces speed → saves more than 60% of energy consumption.
• Auto-start function: When the escalator is in low-speed mode and detects a passenger entering, it automatically accelerates to normal operating speed. → Saves over 70% of energy compared to traditional operation modes.
